VoIP provides users with a wide range of benefits including: - low cost of ownership - improved interoperability - highly scalable - easy to expand your communications reach in the future - easy to install Omnitronics is please to launch our new range of Dispatch Solutions for VoIP Networks. We've developed two exciting new solutions including the 960SIP Dispatch Console and the IPRdispatch software.
960SIP Dispatch Console The 960SIP Dispatch Console is a robust console solution which allows easy access to radio communications using an IP network. Our engineering team have incorporated Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) into this product to allow dynamic connections to remote radio's and supports multiple operators and channels. See the diagram below for a typical application.
IPdispatch The IPdispatch software works in a similar way to the 960SIP Dispatch Console however this device is PC controlled. The intercom and PTT buttons are controlled on the touch screen and the microphone and audio are built into the PC. A typical application is outlined below.
Large Underground Mine goes VoIP Omnitronics is currently working with a world leading mining company to transform their underground mine to VoIP based communications. The mining company isinstalling a fibre optic backbone throughout the mine. By connecting IPR400's through out the site the mine is able to effectively integrate its radio communications (utilising existing leaky feeder) with mine data & CCTV tocreate a fully integrated voice and data communications solution. The Omnitronics IPR400's provide interoperability for the mine's three channels. The diagram below demonstrates what a typical section of the underground mine communications system will look like when the project's complete in the coming months.
